Gates of Countryside

Gates of Countryside is a 33.4 hectare greenfield subdivision in Brampton consisting of 208 single family homes, 58 townhouse units, a school, a neighbourhood park and a commercial site.

Design of the public spaces was directed by the Urban Design Guidelines for the neighbourhood (also prepared by Brodie & Associates). A gateway feature marks the significance of the site at the intersection of Countryside Drive and Dixie Road; while entry features identify the entrances to the neighbourhood. The community park is a gathering space for local residents and features an open space for free play, a gazebo for shelter, and a community playground.
