RL Clark Water Filtration Plant
Renovation of the administrative component of the RL Clark Water Filtration Plant created the opportunity to improve circulation, update materials, and improve the aesthetics of the building. This assignment included the removal, replacement and relocation of existing trees; relocation of fencing to provide security at the perimeter of the site rather than at the building entrance; re-configuration of pedestrian connections for improved access; and improved plantings to create a clean and pleasing entrance to the facility.
The final phase of re-development is currently under construction. Improvements include modifications to the site entrance features, upgraded employee amenity area, additional buffer plantings, and security issues addressed through landscape remediation.
Consideration of underground storage basins and water filtration equipment was critical in developing functional, inviting entrances to the building.
