St. Clair Reservoir

St. Clair Water Reservoir is located in a thriving neighbourhood in Toronto and is actively utilized by local residents as a park space. Scheduled replacement of the membrane over the below-grade water basins is a major infrastructure project requiring the removal and reinstatement of the overburden on the basins.

The project includes the replacement of existing trees and naturalized areas, replacement of walkways and pedestrian surfaces, removal and reinstatement of park facilities and tennis courts, development of alternative planting details to prevent root damage to the new membrane, and reinstatement of the existing dog park.

Stakeholders and commenting authorities include City of Toronto Urban Forestry/Ravines, City of Toronto Parks and Rec and TRCA.
